Midden Holland Family Doctor Service
The HAP is an organization in which all general practitioners in the region provide emergency medical care outside office hours. General practitioners and certified physician assistants are on standby to answer your urgent medical questions and provide solutions. The HAP strives to have access to your relevant medical information, such as medical history, medication use, and allergies.

This allows the physician assistant to determine the urgency and the optimal treatment for your healthcare needs.
This could be: advice over the phone, a consultation at the HAP, a visit to the emergency room, a home visit by a GP, or an immediate ambulance call.
The physician assistant will always ask you the following:
- briefly and concisely what is going on
- patient's name, address, date of birth
- phone number
- name of your own doctor
- Social Security Number (found on your identification card)
