The walking map offers enough variety for several days of walking enjoyment. Hikers can stretch their legs on the Hollandsche IJsselpad. Long-distance walkers can, if they wish, cover the trail in two sections (37 and 25 km). The trail takes you from the source of the river at Het Klaphek in IJsselstein to the water bus stop in the Stormpolder Vloedbos in Krimpen aan den IJssel. Of course, you can also walk shorter sections of the trail. For hiking enthusiasts who prefer a shorter route, there are 11 shorter walking trails marked on the map. The routes are marked with hiking trail network junctions, making it easy to stay on the right path.
