Discover Gouda from the water, sail through the historic canals, and discover the fascinating story behind our world-famous city! With our special ships, we can reach places that remain hidden to other boat tours. Discover the whole story during an approximately 1-hour trip in which we sail in two directions through the canals of Gouda along the north-south route that has been used for centuries by all ships to travel from the city center of Gouda to the Hollandse IJssel via the longest lock in the world.

The tour takes you past nine historic locations, and our skippers will tell you lots of interesting facts about the city. Of course, you can also ask them your own questions!

Boarding point
The boarding point for Bootje Kaas is at Kleiwegplein, on the side of Kattensingel, where you will find the barge called Dapp're Daphne. Passengers can sit here and wait for the next tour.
Please note: passengers must be able to get on and off the boat independently.
