MoZaEnZo Studio

MoZaEnZo is Jeannette Nieuwesteeg's studio.

At the Van Noort Meeting Center, located at Lekkenburg 1, intensive mosaic work is being carried out.

Mosaics is an art form that dates back centuries. The ancient Greeks and Romans were already practicing it. The possibilities are almost endless. Mosaics is a traditional craft that can also be very relaxing and calming. Each piece is unique and, with a little help from Jeannette, the result is always something very special and beautiful. Many different materials are used, such as ceramic tile pieces, glass, crockery, beads, shells, etc. The possibilities are endless. Bowls, wall decorations, lamps, paving stones, tea light holders, stools, tables, lanterns, and all kinds of other objects can be mosaicked. MoZaEnZo offers a regular workshop, but your own plans and ideas are always welcome and can be discussed.

Tip for a day trip to Gouda: Come in the morning to take a workshop, then head into town for lunch and return in the afternoon to finish or add to your piece.

Various workshops are offered. These often have a special theme, such as autumn, Christmas, winter, Easter, or summer. It is also great fun to come and do a workshop with your family, to celebrate a bachelor party, an anniversary, or a birthday. Of course, you can also give a surprise workshop as a gift, which is even more fun if you participate yourself. We will discuss the options and how much time is needed in advance.

MoZaEnZo also offers courses:

A basic course of 6 lessons, a follow-up course of 6 lessons, a course on tableware of 6 lessons, and a glass-on-glass course of 3 lessons.

If you want to come regularly to do mosaics for fun, as a hobby, you can use the "STRIPPENKAART 5 + 1" (5 + 1 ticket). This card entitles you to five half-days (2.5 hours each) at MoZaEnZo, plus one half-day free of charge. The ticket is valid for one year. After a workshop or course, you can mosaic independently for a small fee per half-day.

The strip card includes the use of tools and coffee/tea. Mosaic tiles and glass are available from us at a reasonable price. You can bring your own object to mosaic or purchase one in the studio (e.g., bowls, glass jars, tableaus, etc.). Also a great gift idea! You can come and use your "strippenkaart" on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Many of Jeannette's works can be found in the studio, where they can be admired and/or purchased.

Jeannette also accepts commissions for special occasions. These include mosaic company logos, tableaux for births, weddings, anniversaries, etc.
