Traditional Pottery Workshop
Traditional pottery is the studio of Trudy Otterspeer, the last pottery painter in Gouda. The studio was founded in 2007 and has been located in the historic city center of Gouda, the Netherlands, since December 2012. Here, she is reviving an age-old craft: pottery painting. Unglazed pottery is decorated by hand with a design or motif, glazed, and then fired a second time. Well-known decorative styles include Delft blue and Gouda pottery.
