St. Matthew Passion in St. John's Church, Gouda

It promises to be a magnificent concert conducted by our conductor Niels Kuijers. The Musica Aeterna orchestra and Hans Houtman on continuo will provide professional accompaniment. Outstanding soloists will sing the beautiful solo parts. A large number of project singers have signed up to participate in this concert, most of whom have experience and have previously participated in performances, including those of Toonkunst Gouda. The children's choir that is part of the performance consists of pupils from the upper grades of the Vrije School De Ridderslag and pupils from the lower grades of De Driestar. In collaboration with our conductor, the music teachers of both schools are diligently rehearsing the songs with the pupils.
