De Goudse Hofsteden petting zoo at Bloemendaalseweg 34a in Gouda is hosting a fun and educational activity on Sunday, March 30: the Spring Festival! During this enjoyable event, young goats, bees, and flowers will play the leading role. Visitors will be welcomed with coffee, tea, and rusks with aniseed sprinkles. They will then be taken on a guided tour to visit the young goats. They will also meet tame animals in the meeting corner. For the children, there will be a craft activity, a treasure hunt, and games.
Children aged 4 and older can visit the learning loft under parental supervision! Enthusiastic volunteers help children discover different life cycles, how tadpoles are born, how an apple blossom grows into an apple, and how chicks grow inside an egg—an educational discovery.
The activities are intended for parents/caregivers/grandparents together with their children or grandchildren. Accompanying adults also participate in the program components. There are fixed times for the maternity visits and meeting corner, while the other activities can be done throughout the day. A small contribution is requested for participation.
