From December 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026, SPORT•GOUDA offers a varied program full of sporting and fun activities. From indoor soccer tournaments and winter fun at the Groenhovenbad to the ever-popular Gouda Sports and Games: there is something for everyone this holiday season! Read on below for the full program.
Girls Sports | Indoor soccer tournament 12+ 5 vs 5
Monday, December 22 – 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – De Mammoet Sports Center
We are kicking off the Christmas holidays with a fun girls' indoor soccer tournament. Teams of five girls will compete against peers aged 12 and older. Join in and enjoy an afternoon of sports!
This activity is organized by SPORT•GOUDA in collaboration with gro-up neighborhood work.
Winter fun at the Groenhovenbad swimming pool
Monday, December 22 – 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Groenhovenbad
On Monday, December 22, the Groenhovenbad will be transformed into a winter wonderland! Come and enjoy an afternoon full of fun water activities. With a winter air cushion, snowball fight, and snowball basketball, it's guaranteed to be a fun afternoon!
The Gouda Sports and Games Festival
Wednesday, December 24 – 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – De Mammoet Sports Center
On Wednesday, December 24, Sportcentrum De Mammoet will be transformed into one big world of play and exercise. The day will start with a low-stimulus hour (9:00-10:00 a.m.) during which children can play sports in peace and quiet and receive a basketball clinic from Bouncers Basketball.
After that, parents and children can exercise (together) from 10:30 a.m. For the little ones (0 to 5 years old), there is a separate area with fun activities. De Boekfiets will also be there! At the same time, there will be the regular program (for children up to 12 years old), including activities such as snowball dodgeball, an air cushion, and a sports clinic by Bouncers Basketball. A fun and active morning for everyone!
Indoor soccer tournament 12+ 5 vs 5
Wednesday, December 31 – 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. – De Mammoet Sports Center
We are ending the year on a sporty note! Young people aged 12 to 17 can show off their soccer skills in a 5-a-side tournament. The games will be played in age groups 14-/14+. A sporty and fun afternoon for all soccer fans.

Adjusted opening hours Groenhovenbad
From December 22, 2025, through January 4, 2026, the Groenhovenbad will have adjusted opening hours. In addition to recreational (free) swimming, visitors can also swim laps, swim in warm water, or participate in the "parent-to-child" swimming lessons.
